New Reservation System for expired
dot-ca domain
Please find the following update regarding dot-ca domains.
1-Major batch release of deleted domains: 20,000 domains

Over 16,000 domains have been suspended on Dec 1, 2002. Many
of these names were reserved by volume purchasers who decided
not to renew. CIRA decided to rellease all deleted domains
during Dec24, 2002 - Jan 7, 2003 in one batch. As a result
of this 20,000 domains are expected to be released on Wednesday
Jan 8, 2003 at 12:00 noon EST. These domain will be registered
through a special registration system.
2-FastWebServer launches a new reservation system for expired
domains

Due to high demands, we have launched a new reservation system
for suspended, expired and TBR domains.
Reservation through the new system is possible as soon as
a domain is suspended. Improved functionality of the new reservation
system will provide maximum flexibility for our clients just
on time when tens of thousands of domains have been suspended
and will become available for registration.
The cost of standard reservation is $29.95/year for each
domain registrations. We also offer premium reservation for
an extra $50 CAD. The reservation is risk free since you will
pay only if a domain is registered successfully and there
are no hidden fees. Please note if we receive more than one
order for a domain we will randomly select one to submit to
the registry.
To submit an order to reserve a domain:
1- Visit http://www.fastwebserver.ca and log in to your account
with FastWebServer.
Click on "Forgot Password" if you do not know your
username and password.
2- Click on Reserve TBR domains.
3- Enter the domains to check the status.
4- You will get a list of available domains for reservation.
Follow the instructions to submit the order.
Each domain registration or transfer with us includes free
url forwarding, free online update of registration records,
free parking and superior Customer service and support.
Please note while we will make every effort to register the
domains in our queue, there is no guarantee that you will
get all domains you order.
